If you have come to this post then you really want to me run or you know that I badly need to run ( for my own good though) or you believe in the "WHY" of why I'm running.
On 16th October Delhi is witnessing a Half Marathon, and as part of the marathon there is a fundraising run for charities to raise money.
There are lots of categories for which one can run and I have decided to do the "Dream Run". The dream run will require me to raise a minmimum of 2000 pounds. And I'll be raising this money for iVolunteer and its IndiaFellow program that helps young people get 6 weeks of volunteering exposure in Rural Areas of India.
100 pounds enable 1 young student to volunteer for 6 weeks .. every pound counts
The 7 Kms:
For those who don't know me, the maximum I have run at a stretch is 500 m on a tread mill. And starting august I will be training VIGOROUSLY to do a respectable finish at the marathon. Please watch this board weekly for my training progress.
But since there are many who beleive its almost a IMPOSSIBLE FEAT for me to manage anything more than a few meters...I might open a betting line on this blog. Needless to say that all the money that you win or lose will go to iVolunteer.

Well you can run with me for iVolunteer and raise money or you can raise money from your friends and relatives and help me do the deam run. And if you need tips to raise money send a mail nainwal@mitra.org.in.
If you are from VSO then sending money to me is very simple- just give it to Kate Cotton in the Carlton House office Do leave your name and email ID so that I can update you with the marathon run.
